Brooke Babyak grew up in Edmonton, and started cooking at the age of 9. She did her culinary training at Vancouver Community College, where she graduated at the top of her class. This stand offered her the unique opportunity to cook for the U.S.A. Olympic house in Turino, Italy, in 2006. She returned home to Edmonton and began working for Westin Edmonton
